There have been maybe a half dozen of these threads and every time someone say they're not going to download it because downloading.exes off 4chan is retarded. Which is entirely true.
To make clear, this patch will translate the TurboGrafx-CD version of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood into English. Everything will be translated; even the voiced dialogue will be replaced with the official Konami English dub from Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (PSP). However miscellaneous grunts will retain their original Japanese. That's common sense is it at least english patched? Dracula X: Chi no Rondo (Devil's Castle Dracula X: Rondo of Blood). I dunno why it would since all that's in there is the.cue and a few.iso files which I ripped myself.
However you can scan that.exe before you run it and I can also personally attest that it's clean. Ideally what OP should do is find some more official looking place or some known castlevania fansite that links to that download and then give out that link rather than linking directly to an.exe on mediafire, which is suspicious as fuck especially if you've been around 4chan long enough to remember the numerous 'dude download this totally innocent game.exe' debacles.
Man the internet has totally changed, I remember all those castlevania fansites that used to host fangames and fanremakes and I can't find any of them anymore. I remember sites with like midi music in the background hidden eastereggs like click on the candle in the background to get to the secret downloads page with all the 'funny' fanart. I also remember a remake of Castlevania 3 that ran natively on PC using Super Castlevania IV sprites as a base and it was really good as I remember but I can't find any of it anymore. God I miss web 1.0.
