What are the benefits of CECH Virtual Labs? CECH students, faculty and staff can now access licensed software required for completing assignments without having to hunt down an open computer lab with the right software or installing limited trail software on their own computers. They can access CECH Virtual Labs from any computer, iPad, Android tablet, or even a smart phone.

How does CECH Virtual Labs work? CECH Students, faculty, and staff can connect to CECH Virtual Labs by installing the VMWare View client on their device.
Check out the Virtual Lab Guides for detailed instructions on how to set this up. Once connected, log in with your UC Central Login (6+2) and select CECH Virtual Labs.
A familiar Windows 7 Desktop will load with Icons to all of the available software. From there, launch your program and start working. Important Note The virtual desktops are non-persistent. This means each time you log off, all changes made to the desktop are removed and anything saved is deleted.
